The gripper PC12 is designed to lift aluminium coils up to 12 tons, with maximum opening equal to 2 meters.
The gripper is equipped with continuous electric rotation and piece presence sensors on the arms.
Its weight is less than 1500 kg, the study was completed with FEM analyses.
Also exists in “hot coil” version, the study was carried out with thermal camera.
